GST Officers raided three different Gold Shops Surya Hallmark in Paralakhemundi after receiving the Order from Odisha State GST Commissioner.
Surya Hallmark is one of the Highest transaction Golden Shops in Gajapati District of Paralakhemundi Town. Nearly Crores of Rupees transactions are going on in these Shops however there have been a huge allegation against the Shops that there have been huge Irregularities in GST Taxes and low standard of gold provided to the Customers branding 916 Hallmarked Gold.
GST Berhampur Division Officer Manoj Panda said so far we are looking to see if we can find any Irregularities in the Shop we have not yet gone to the documentation Part once we complete the Raid we will inform the Press a none Member team from GST enforcement Department is involved in this Raid.
Manager of Surya Hallmark Mr Nani said the shop belongs to P Ramakrishna, GST Audit Verification is going on and we are cooperating with the Officers in these GST Search Operation.
