Serango Christian Hospital Eye Services Closed down, Patient severely affected.
GTLNS: Crores of Rupees Hospital remains closed from years without any certain reasons, Thousands of Patient from Interstate Odisha and Andhra Pradesh are severely affected due to dysfunction of the Hospital. The Serango Christian Hospital established at Ranipeta near Paralakhemundi in Gajapati district was inaugurated by Former Prime Minister of Indian Honorable Shri P.V.Narasimha Rao in the august presence of Former Chief Minister of Odisha Shri J.B Patnaik, The Hospital was donated by “CHRISTOFFEL BLINDEN MISSION” Germany for the Services of the Poor and backward People in the tribal dominated Gajapati District. Thousands of patients have received sight with the help of this Hospital. Once upon a time this hospital was like a ray of light in the darkness but now it remains in darkness after the Hospital has been closed down.
The Situation of the Hospital is like Blind in the Day Light, Having a Huge Building with best Infrastructure at Ranipeta , The Hospital has been closed, No Notice Board have been placed stating the reason of the Hospital is closed, Thousands of Poor patient across the state of Odisha travels to this Hospital with the Hope that the Hospital is running, however when they come near the Hospital they are completely disappointed because the Hospital is Closed down however the Entrance Gate is Open, People takes loan and come to this Hospital for their treatment without knowing that the Hospital is not in Operation.
The Nearby People alleged that there has been a big disturbance in the Internal Hospital Management Committee which is why the Hospital is closed and due to their own selfish behavior the poor patient are badly affected. The Mission board from the Germany had donated crores of Ruppes to establish the Hospital however now it is completely in Vain, looking at the condition of this hospital the local resident express their huge sadness, As We know that People perish without vision, but here we see Vision disappear due to lack of right kind of eligible people to maintain the hospital.
One of the Patient Name Samati Sabara from Patili Village from Gunpur block came to this hospital here on 18th November 2022, Friday spending Rs two thousand Five Hundred Ruppe for her travel for the treatment however when she and her family found that the hospital is closed their heart was broken. She request the Gajapati District Administration and Odisha State Government should intervene into this matter and taken necessary steps to reopen the Hospital for the betterment of the People.
